Note. Prompt engineering using Google Gemini generative AI.
What is the difference between Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM)? According to Google Gemini, a generative AI tool, "Generative AI is a broad category of artificial intelligence (AI) that can create new content, while large language models (LLMs) are a type of generative AI that specializes in language-based tasks (Google Gemini, 2024)."
Note. Google AI Studio and testing the responses from Gemini.
Generative AI provides the user with reasonable contextual intelligence. This reasonable intelligence uses prompt engineering to guide the generative AI in generating responses that are appropriate to the role. In this role, I have prompted Gemini as ALICE, a friendly assistant who works for Voracity Company.
Note. Open-WebUI running Deepseek-r1 locally on MacBook Air M2
Want to run Deepseek generative AI model not from the Internet but locally? Generative models such as Llama, Meditron, and Deepseek-r1 are all running locally on Apple MacBook Air M2 silicon. Running these models using a beautiful web interface is cost effective with the benefit that my data is safe on-premise.
